General News - December 2005

This year we held our first family show at our Theatre School, which was a great success. It gave the students an opportunity to perform as a soloist or in a small group, which really helps them to gain confidence They performed to packed houses, and managed to raise over £500 for Mencap.

Our next main show will be at the Princes Hall Aldershot on May 6th and 7th 2006. It will be our biggest yet, and will be suitable for all the family.

Congratulations - December 2005

Once again our students' examination results in all subjects were excellent with well over 70% passing with HONOURS (85%) or above. We now have over 30 students with Associate or Licentiate Diploma's behind them.

Well done to Verity Tingey who gained a scholarship to Laine Theatre Arts, Epsom, and also attended Frogmoor Dance School. Also Rachel Diprose (Central School of Ballet, London) attended Renton Dance School, and Joe Finn (Sylvia Young Theatre School, London). We miss you. Finally congratulations also to Lucy Clark who has just been awarded a full scholarship to Itali Conti Performing Arts Collage London.

Congratulations to Sophie Musson who came 2nd at Camberley Theatre's "Famous for 5 minutes" talent show and to David Ribi & Verity Tingey who came joint 3rd. Well done.

Well Done to Caris Brooks who gained a place as a Junior Cecchetti Associate in London for her 3rd year running.
